Greetings, dungeoneers! I am back!

Yes, sorry for the delay, but as I predicted in the last update, there were a few more unforeseen complications before I could settle into the new place. But almost everything is sorted now, and I’m ready to get back to work in RPG Maker.

Luckily, all this time spent moving has given me plenty of time to think, and I’ve got a pretty decent idea of what I want to do with the rest of our RPG Maker build. Initially, we had big plans — in fact, we thought we'd be working with RPG Maker forever. But as our skills and ambition grew, it became obvious that RPG Maker would be insufficient for the game we wanted to create.

For a while, I floundered, trying to figure out how to salvage the story we’d started — which was originally just supposed to be an optional area — for a much grander narrative. But now that I’ve had time to reflect on what I want to accomplish with Fur Quests, and what RPG Maker is actually capable of, I’ve got a pretty solid idea of where to take it from here — and where to go afterward.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves!

For now, know that Fae has been hard at work making lovely illustrations while I’ve been gone, and more environmental assets have been added to our library.

And now that Fur Quests is back to its bi-weekly update schedule, so you can look forward to seeing all of that real soon.
