Greetings, dungeoneers, and welcome back to another Fur Quests update.

Today we’re adding 5 new illustrations to the game, featuring Celine and Morrigan on the beach. And honestly, this update ended up being trickier than I expected — not because of its size, but because these characters have been with me for so long that even small scenes with them feel surprisingly meaningful. I’ve mentioned before that Cliffshade was never intended to be the main area of Fur Quests. It was supposed to be a quick pit stop after the prologue.

If you ever stumble across a really old build, the game actually starts with a “Chapter 2” banner because the original plan was to go back and create Chapter 1 once we had the resources. The story was meant to introduce Celine, Morrigan, Tera, Cassia, and a handful of other companions, rivals, and enemies — each with their own arcs and supporting cast. But as our scope with RPG Maker shifted, a lot of that content had to be set aside. I’ve always imagined the party bonding through fire and conflict, but instead they’re mostly spending time together in a little mountainside village.

Not quite the epic journey I first pictured, but still fun to explore in its own way. These beach scenes are short and simple, but they were a nice chance to spend a bit more time with the cast. It’s not as much content for them as I originally hoped to give you all, but that just means there’s more to look forward to when I move over to Unreal and can finally go big with them. December is almost here, and I’m excited to finish up the last zone and wrap up the final chapter of Fur Quests. As always, thank you so much for your support.
