Greetings dungeoneers!

There are a lot of new people here this week. We noticed Fur Quests was even trending for a while on Itch's adult category, which is something We've never dared to imagine at this stage of development.

We'd like to thank everyone who liked and shared the game with your friend. It goes a long way to help the game grow.

But it was not all sunshine and roses. We got some pretty hard and consistent critics. Which is fair; the game is still quite young, and we are still learning how to make a game, and honestly, we really appreciated a lot of the notes we got.

Two of the most consistent critics we got was how shallow the writing was at the moment. Which we completely agree with. It was always our plan to make simple quests with quick smut as a proof of concept for the public to enjoy. But we always planned to expand on the writing in the future. In fact, it was going to be our next big priority until we received another big critic.

The maps are too big! We've noted before that the demo area was always meant to be completely optional and skippable. That will still be the case in the finished game, but we realize it simply is not fun to wander around aimlessly in a maze all day. So the maps have been slashed in half.

And if you've paid attention to why we cut the interior of Cliffshade out of the demo a while back, you know what kind of problem that could cause. The pacing of several quests had to be completely redone, and variables had to be changed, tested, changed, and tested time and time again until they would work right.

We thought we could release the new build three hours ago until we stumbled upon four-game breaking glitches that came about from this change, and we fear there are still more out there that we haven't discovered. 

So please keep an eye out and report your findings to us. ^^

So sadly not much content with this week's update. Though with the redone maps, we also redid many of our assets and battlebacks. If you've been backing us on Patreon or Subscribestar you might know we've worked on this for a while, but it was finally ready to be put into the game, which was a lucky twist of fate.

But it hasn't all been map redesign and bug fixing. No, no, no!

All of this keen interest in our game has really motivated to work twice as hard as ever before and so we have a lot in store in the weeks to come.
