Greetings, dungeoneers, and welcome back to another Fur Quests update!

As you can see from the thumbnail, there won’t be an RPG update today, as I was eager to dive into some 3D work instead. Some of you may know that I’ve been developing a base mesh to speed up character production for the RPG. The final hurdle was a few technical hiccups, but after some research and experimentation, I think I’ve finally found a workaround that will let me create more detailed characters. To test this, I needed an animation-ready character, so my goal this week was to start building a game-ready version of Nagara. 

I love Fae's illustration of Nagara, but it felt a bit busy, so I’m working on streamlining the design and filling in some details that Fae’s illustrations haven’t covered. Right now, I’m playing around with her outfit’s general pattern and will work on refining it this weekend.

Once everything is in place and working as intended, I’ll put together a comprehensive breakdown of my process for our supporters on Patreon and Subscribestar.

Since starting on Fur Quests, I’ve been learning a lot to make it the best game it can be. While there’s always more to learn, I’m really pleased with my progress this year, and I can’t wait to bring this new rendition of Nagara to life.
